This thread will be fore trading the imaginary yet often real Sunday gap, that most retailer traders seem to always have. That considered, this strategy has proven successful time after time after time, yet is often ridiculed. Well we will take the guess work out of it's usefulness here under this topic. Cool

Hey Chonchy Smile
I have the same quotes here:
http://www.xe.com/
I was really hoping for either no gap or a gap down.

my GCI and FXCM platforms re now open. (5:00 pm est) and I have a gap not worth wasting bandwith on. lol (4 pips give or take a couple on both platforms.)
FXCM spreads currently 7.3 pips is what is causing the gap lol. Have a good trading week!

Another weekend quote feed I watch for every week. Their Yen cross quotes are often a precursor to what will happen the following week. I have made some good money using these weekend quotes as targets.

Sunday April 10, 2011 5:00 pm est FXCN trade station is now open, FXCM mt4 is not. Closing price from Friday was 1.4454 1.44690 on GCI(Owned by FXCM).Gap is 18 pips difference to the upside, but takeing in consideration current 7 - 8 pips spread. I don't see the value in going after this. In addition, may be closed by the time the rest of the brokers open anyway.

Checking in. Am away for a few days, so no charts here.
I see weekend price for GY hit 129.7.
I did take a short at the Sunday open, but have since hedged it. All longs taken will have a trailing stop.
Let's see what the week has in store.
