Yes. True. Hope all's well too.

Hey guys, all is well Smile I have been helping my daughter move and taking care of the babies while she gets set up and getting a new roof on the house. (Its been crazy around here to say the least. lol)I will most likely be trading longer term over the summer so I wont be here several hours a day until fall that is. Where I live, we have to take advantage of the very short summers.

Hello everyone Very Happy ,
I hope all are well and happy. I have been extremely busy at work these past two months and I haven't really been posting here too much due to circumstances.
I just wanted to come by and drop a line and a couple of my viewpoints. I think we are entering a significant period of uncertainty. History has shown us that when markets are uncertain, great sell-offs usually accompany the sentiment. As most of you know, the Fed's QEII is scheduled to end on June 30, where the Fed will cease buying billions a day in treasuries from PDs. I can assure you, that this will be a massive shock to the US bond market. Interest rates will most likely spike, causing private investment to slow down. What does this mean? This could signal a continuation of the downtrend in equities that started in 2007. In my proprietary analysis which I am required to conduct for work, I am getting many, many signals from global bond, commodities, money, and equities markets that a collapse similar to 2007-8 is currently in the works(Unfortunately, I cannot share this info, however I certainly would if I could). I have never been more certain about anything in my life. What has caught my attention even more than these markets, are the dire economic straits that have resulted from the US fiscal and monetary measures that have been taken over the course of the past two years. The US has never before implemented these types of radical monetary policy measures, so that said, I can be certain that the decision makers had a very vague sense of the repercussions that these actions may have in the future. Well, that future is now upon us.
The reason I wrote this has stemmed from concern for my fellow friends and traders. Please be safe and always use stops and limits when trading because in these next couple of months the market conditions could be very thin with liquidity meaning much larger than expected moves. If you are trading for a living, you should pay special notice to this call. I will try to be around here as much as I can in the next two months, as I hope more people will post and share views.

I read this report from John Mauldin today...

http://www.investorsinsight.com/blogs/thoughts_from_the_frontline/archive/2011/06/04/06_2F00_04_2F00_2011.aspx

This is one of his weekly reports that I've been reading for years. He has a macro view and uses a lot of external references for his work. He's been talking for a couple of years about how this whole thing with PIIGS might play out. This article is definitely worth a read, if nothing more than to put it in your back pocket.

site has been quiet latley- so i can just aswell post a gbp/aud chart in euro threat- this is one of my fav. pairs out here ATM for possition trading - dont think here is a better R/R trade out here - but here it is - textbook adam and eve double bottom- weekly H&S - it all lined up for a bull move to 1.8 and even 2.0000 over the coming months and even year or 2 -
as of the euro - i am still holding longs from days ago @ 1.41 and 1.4000 - will closed @ 14750's
gbp/jpy - FINALLY !! we are nearly at the end of the long dragging bottom @ 130's -- 160 is a given - just dont know when, but we should reach it sometime - WE ARE BULLISH - no doubt about that - the best bet is - placed longs with SL's and enjoy life outside the charts -
all the best-

Couple of interesting charts imo.
Daily EU. Bearish hidden divergence and an AB=CD to the downside in play. FE100 target of 3711. We're still bearish until 4700 gets taken out I think.
EUR/USD (GENERAL) - Page 23 Eudail10
It's not great, but there is also still a very loose H&S in play where price bounced off the neckline.
Drilling down, on the Hourly we have an AB=CD and a bullish HD with a FE100 play out area of 4460 and I think market wants to see higher before we go lower.
EUR/USD (GENERAL) - Page 23 Euhour10
Hope everyone is doing good.

Volatility is picking up very sharply here, we could see a very strong sell off like I was talking about two weeks ago. The global macro feeling is eerily similar to 2008(think late July). On Monday, my desk got word of MAJOR buying of VIX aug11 calls by hedge funds.

Smart money is exiting the doors of the theater, FAST. When everyone tries to go through one door, this will get extremely uncomfortable. Always use stops and proper risk management.

Im looking at the EU H1 and H4 charts. It appears we have an ABC long with a bull flag and bullish hidden divergence on the h1 chart BUT...we also have an ABC short with Bearish hidden divergence on the 4 hr chart. Oh what to do.....
I think if we have a 1 hr close above the upper bull flag TL that the bullish hidden divergence will kick in and target the 4540 area but if we have a 1 hr close BELOW the lower bull flag TL, then the h4 abc short with bearish hidden divergence should kick in.

This H1 EU could possibly test the 50% and the blue TL then form a pin and bounce back up, kicking in the bullish hidden divergence.

I have not heard from Tony in a long time. Hope everything is good for him. He is probably spending less time here also with summer being here. We only have a few months of nice weather so we have to take advantage of it.lol

EU H1...We had a close below the lower bull flag TL but right now price is supported by the blue TL mentioned in the last post. It appears the h4 bearish hidden divergence is kicking in but until we have a h4 close below 4011 or even 4000, I would sit on my hands. If price does close below 4011, then I would think that 3634 is a possibility.

H1....seems indecisive at the moment. Possibility of testing the green
lines on the chart before another upmove. But I think a close above 4244
has a good chance of taking price to 4354 at least. A close below the
green trend line could take price to test the 50 or 38.2 fib again.

H1
EUR/USD (GENERAL) - Page 23 Eu_h113

H4:
H4 could test "C" (61.Cool and head back down. But that gives the h1 time
to play out the long set up. And now that I look at it a bit better, the
h4 could even test the 78.6 (forming a new "C") before heading back
down. So we will just have to be careful.

Not a whole lot of action for NFP but here is what I see at the current moment:
H1 ABC short set up off the 50%. Keep in mind, there is no bearish hidden divergence yet so its possible to test the 61.8 or 78.6 before a decline.(personally...being that its friday, I will wait and look for an m5 or m15 entry on Monday) Above the 78.6 and it likely we violate the pattern and go higher.
